Home Stamp is a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose to improve the quality and availability of off-campus student accommodation within Canterbury in conjunction with registered landlords, agents and private accommodation providers who have students’ best interests at heart. All registered members have agreed to adhere to the requirements of the schemes Code of Standards.

With the scheme’s accreditation year running from the 1st of August to 31st July annually, members are able to advertise their portfolios for a fraction of the cost of standard advertisement fees, as and when required, putting control back at our members fingertips .

The scheme understands that every landlord, agent and private accommodation provider has individual requirements and no two clients are ever the same. You can be sure our staff are highly experience and are happy to guide you through the accreditation process with minimal fuss.

Advertisement opportunities

Home Stamp has an outreach of over 40,000 students studying across Canterbury at The University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church and The University of the Creative Arts.

Annually, Home stamp distributes over 10,000 hard copies of the scheme’s Living in the Local Community Guide; Housing Journey and Housing Fair Marketing Materials across all three partnered institutions, whilst the scheme’s website receives over 40,000 website views on average per month.

Tenancy Disputes

Home Stamp supports both members and students to resolve disputes so that an amicable outcome can be reached. The scheme can help by referring members to the appropriate contacts at the university in which the student studies at.

It is recommended that open communication is maintained by both members and students however the scheme appreciates that disagreements can arise. If you are experiencing difficulty with a student tenant and require support and guidance, please send a completed Tenancy Dispute form by clicking homestamp@kent.ac.uk.
